Go Forth My Minions
A game created in 2 weeks. This is my submission for https://itch.io/jam/summer-incremental-game-jam-2023
An incremental game with Tower Offense, Based on the theme Energy equals Matter.
Trying to be as original as possible, Hoping to be a new experience for many!
Contents included:
- ~30 minutes to experience everything the game has to offer. (5th boss defeated)
- 11 unique towers that all branch from the starting 2.
- Unique resource system that is provided by energy, And consumed as matter for everything.
- Boss fights!
- An ending that can be continued after.
- 2 Minion upgrades! (more were planned.. sorry)
- Peasant - The default minion.
- Warrior - Deals double the damage to the boss!
- Archer - Deals half the damage, But penetrates deep into the armor of the boss!

I had a fun time! Upgrading your characters as they pass through to then fight a boss is a nice twist on the tower defense formula. Felt more like a management game at times which was a neat touch.

Thanks for the comment! If i had even one more non-work, non-family day to work on it, Many of those things were on the to-do list! My last day i had to pick n choose some stuff. And even polish what needed to be done.
But to note some stuff from number 2, there is a boss counter in the spawner menu. And quickly seeking through your video, it looks like you didn't get the victory screen? I'm sorry. i will get like 20 minutes of time later today, This may be one thing i might be able to look at and change. its suppose to pop up when you kill 5 and show you the time it took you.
God I love the concept of a reverse tower defense where your towers buff the minions instead of hurting them. Is the healers in the game increasing the max health of the minions? Hard to tell a little bit, would be cool if we had some way to see the stats of an individual minion.
Edit: God this game is so speedrunable its lovely, got my time down to about 14:00 on my second run its fun as hell. 3rd run down to 11:27, might do some optimizations later really want to be able to do 5 bosses in less then 10 minutes
